With grandparents hailing from County Cork and Wexford, Irish dancing is in her blood. Jennifer started dancing at the age of 8 with the late Greta Sheridan , TCRG and also had the privilege of training under the late Peter Smith, TCRG. During those years, she had the opportunity to perform all over the tri-state including at Carnegie Hall. Jennifer has also proved herself in with a successful competition career earning her recognition as a competitive Champion Irish Dancer.
At the age of 20, she started the Jennifer Lynn School of Irish Dance in Union in honor of her late teacher Greta Sheridan. Since then, the school continues to grow and earn more local and nationals recognition each year!
Jennifer is a graduate of Rutgers University with a Masters Degree in Education. She is well versed and highly qualified in teaching children of various ages and abilities. Through these methods, her students will learn the fundamentals but most importantly, they'll truly love to Irish Dance!
CaraJeanne assists with classes, performances and competitions. She has a degree in Family & Child Studies and is currently an Elementary School teacher. Miss CaraJeanne started Irish dance at 10 years old under the direction of Deidre Shea; since then she has competed in local competitions and participated in many show performances.
